On Page 146 in the auction price guide section, mention is made of a Robert Welch silver candelabra (1978) with a brief summary of his career mentioning the designs he did for Old Hall. The 'Campden' and 'Alveston' ranges are quoted as being of 'iconic status’.
On Page 108, Jan Waldron with the help of Mark Hill set off to find a bargain with £200 at the Newark antiques fair. They come across an Old Hall Campden coffee set for £38, which was knocked down to £32. These were considered to be 'too good to be true' in view of their 'clean, modern lines' summing up ‘the rebirth of British metalware'.
