This magnificent Old Hall display stand is from the 1970s and has ever since been prominent in ‘The China Shop’ in the main street in Machynlleth, who were the leading Old Hall stockists for mid Wales, as their main display unit. It is in full working order (including a plastic Old Hall name panel, fluorescent lighting and sliding doors in the front and rear of the base) and is in very good condition. On the floor inside the base is a stencilled notice saying “This unit is the property of Old Hall Tableware and must only be used for displaying Old Hall products, or else ............etc, etc”. The main parts of the unit are in wood-effect melamine. The owner of the shop died about a year ago and the unit was purchased from the executors. It is quite large, being 6’ wide x 3’6” deep and 6’6” high. It is dismantled to a large extent, the main bulk being the base unit.
There is no charge for this superb item and it is free to a good home. Please note that this excludes all the Old Hall items shown in the above picture! It is hoped that it will go to a home where it can once again show off the great Old Hall range.
